Suspects busted with stolen paint
A vigilant witness puts police on the suspects' tracks.
Krugersdorp Police arrested two suspects for theft and possession of stolen property in Krugersdorp North last week.
The two suspects were caught with two 20 litre containers of paint.
The arrest follows after a witness alerted the owners of the property who then contacted the police.
On arrival at the address, police caught the suspects red-handed in possession of the stolen paint and were arrested on the spot.
“The Krugersdorp police would like to applaud the community members who are vigilant in the areas and who report criminal activities so that perpetrators can be arrested and charged,” Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale said.
The two suspects are expected to make a brief appearance in court facing charges of theft and possession of stolen goods.
