The News hereby corrects the information published in an article featured on the News’ website on 2 March. The area where a businessman allegedly was arrested recently for raping a woman, was given erroneously as Featherbrooke Estate.
The News hereby states explicitly that the suspect is not from the Featherbrooke Estate area. Contrary to the News’ initial report police confirmed that a man from the Muldersdrift area had been arrested in connection with the allegations.
The News sincerely apologises to the Featherbrooke Estate Board of Directors for any inconvenience that may have resulted from this error.
