Vigilant officers out on a routine patrol found two men in a taxi in possession of an undisclosed amount of dagga.
Warrant Officer Mashiloane and Constable Molewe spotted and pulled over a minibus with suspicious looking occupants on Malibongwe Road on 21 March at around 1.40am.
The members search the two men aged between 35 and 39 and the vehicle.
They found the men in possession of bags containing dagga, with an unknown street value.
The men were arrested and faced charges of possession when they appeared in court on 22 March.
“The Acting Station Commander, Captain Musandiwa Gilbert Singo applauded the two members for their observant nature and their efforts that led to the arrest of the two suspects,” Muldersdrift Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Hitler Ngwenya said.
