177 arrested in one week

A staggering amount of arrests were made in one week by members of the Krugersdorp Cluster.

Dedication and hard work by local police officer of the Krugersdorp Cluster led to a staggering amount of successful arrests.

Members from the cluster recently arrested a total of 177 suspects in the space of a week.

The arrests ranged from serious offences such as house robberies, murder, rape, house breaking and theft to less serious offences such as undocumented persons, dealing in liquor without a valid liquor license and other liquor related offences.

Some of the suspects have already made a brief appearance in court while those arrested during the weekend, will appear in court this week.

“Acting Krugersdorp Cluster commander Brigadier Ngubane indicated that these successes emerged from the perseverance and dedication shown by police officers as they swiftly reacted to the information received from members of the public. He expressed his satisfaction with the positive actions taken by this partnership policing in the fight against all criminal activities around the Krugersdorp Cluster,” Warrant Officer, Hitler Ngwenya said.
