Well-known drug dealer arrested
Drug dealers in Burgershoop can run but not hide from the K9 Unit.
Following up on information from a tip-off led members from the police’s K9 Unit straight in the direction one of Krugersdorp’s notorious drug dealers.
Yesterday, members of the unit investigated the tip-off which led them to a property in Burgershoop where the suspected drug dealers resides.
The unit moved in and proceeded to the property and found two of the suspected drug dealers in the back rooms where they live.
They searched both the suspects and the room when they hit the jackpot and confiscated a large amount of drugs which were packaged and ready to be sold.
A total of 22 packets of Cat (methcathinone) were recovered from the two Nigerian nationals which adds up to a street value of approximately R3 500 if not more.
It is believed the suspects begged for mercy and attempted to make a deal to avoid being arrested.
Both the suspects were arrested for possession of drugs and were detained at the Krugersdorp Police Station.
