Video: Voters turn out at Laerskool Kenmare as queues fluctuate
Community members braved the heat with water bottles and sunscreen on hand while sharing their views from the polling station.
Residents made their way to the Laerskool Kenmare voting station, where queue lengths have varied throughout the day.
The Krugersdorp News is on site, where queues have fluctuated between long and short. At the time of writing, around 10:45, the weather was warm. However, the queue did not extend outside the building, allowing voters to enjoy the shade.

Voters are encouraged to bring a bottle of water and apply sunscreen in case the queue becomes longer.
Service delivery concerns
Some voters questioned whether the local authority is meeting community needs.
Voter Jane Visser believes it is failing residents in several areas, including road infrastructure and operational management.
“This is because of mismanagement and poor organisation,” she said.
She concluded that only one party should govern and take full responsibility for any failures.
