Mark making sector 7 a safer place

The Community Policing Forum of Sector 7 welcomes the new patrol coordinator.

Community Policing Forum members along with the community recently handed over a Patroller of the Year award during their monthly meeting.

The special meeting was held in the beginning of April at the AFM Church in Libertas Street where dedicated patroller, Mark Trump was voted as Patroller of the Year. He received a trophy which was handed over by Sector 7’s Chairperson, Casper van Zyl.

In addition to the award, Mark was also promoted to the new patrol coordinator.

“We look forward to a new chapter of crime fighting and making the community a safer place to live in,” Casper said.
