Kagiso Police hit the jackpot on the morning of 26 April when they arrested three men in Swanieville for possession of suspected stolen property.
“Police were driving on M13 road when they noticed a white VW Golf signalling them to stop. Upon stopping the complainants introduced themselves as security-company staff looking for a certain address,” said Kagiso Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya.
They told police they were searching for suspects who had just broken into a house in Honeydew and had stolen some property.
“The sector police led the complainants to the three suspects in Swanieville, all of them Mozambican nationals,” concluded Sibiya.
