Marlene van der Merwe passed away on 22 April.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter.
“Marlene was brave and fighting a dreadful disease for such a long time. She never complained, was always smiling, dedicating her time to charity and charity organisations, never thinking of herself,” Marlene’s mother, Mrs Coetzer said.
Marlene’s mother as well as her family wish to thank the ICU surgical team’s sisters and nurses as well as the doctors for taking such good care of Marlene and giving her the best possible treatment. Marlene will be dearly missed by all.
“We will cherish her memory and love forever in our hearts.”
