Seven suffers from smoke inhalation after fire

A fire erupted in Featherbrooke last night.

Seven people suffered from mild smoke inhalation after a fire erupted in a house in Featherbrooke late last light.

It’s believed that the fire started in the roof of the house, although the cause of the fire is still unknown.

According to ER24, paramedics arrived on scene and found that seven people suffered mild smoke inhalation. Fortunately, no serious burn wounds were sustained. ER24 treated and transported two patients to Netcare Pinehaven Hospital for further treatment.

The remaining patients were treated and transported by other medical services on scene.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
