Boys blessed with blankets

Krugersdorp's Dynamix Group spreads warmth this winter.

Fourty-seven boys from the Ikusasa Community Development Centre were recently blessed with sweet treats and some winter warmth.

The Dynamix Group, run by Pi Pretorius, recently visited the centre where they blessed the group of young boys with a warm blanket each as protection against the cold grip of winter.

The blankets were donated by one of the group’s members.

Pi and his team identified a second need at Ikusasa, and decided to bless the boys with some winter spoils in the form of some scrumptious home-baked cookies, which they distributed with the blankets.

“Thank you Dynamix for bringing warmth to Ikusasa,” Donald Nyirenda, project manager for Ikusasa said.

The Dynamix team also handed over a second batch of donated blankets from Monument Primary’s Blanket Drive, this time to Cradle of Hope, Little Jars of Clay and Huis Jerusalem.

Dynamix is also involved with the Tower of Life homeless shelter, where they serve soup and bread every Wednesday night.

“Thank you to the community for opening their hearts to those less fortunate,” Pi said gratefully.
