Update: Missing boy found

Local police confirmed to the News that the missing 12-year-old boy was found safe and sound.

The search for the boy started on Facebook after posts of the missing Pierro Ulyate, who was allegedly seen climbing into a yellow bakkie outside his Tarlton home on 12 June at noon, went viral.

The tall, thinly built boy with medium brown hair and brown eyes was missing for over a day.

Tarlton Police spokesperson, Constable Lucky Matome confirmed late last night that the boy was found in Roodepoort.

The details around his disappearance are under police investigation.
