Community assisting McAlpine’s widow
The community is showing their support.
Krugersdorpers are helping Kevin McAlpine’s pregnant widow, Kezia, pick up the pieces after McAlpine was murdered in May.
A non profit organisation, Silver Wishes, has decided to raise funds which will be donated to Kezia who is due to give birth to her baby boy in August.
“It is in Kevin’s honour that we have arranged a fundraiser to assist the young widow financially,” one of the organisers, Deon Swanepoel said.
Since the passing of McAlpine, the community of Krugersdorp has also come together and started collecting various baby products which they plan to hand over to Kezia at a later stage.
Deon has booked at fundraising show at the Barnyard Theater, in Cresta, for 27 July.
A total of 100 tickets were made available at R180 each and the money raised will go directly to Kezia to assist her financially with everything she may need for her and the baby.
For more information or to book tickets contact Deon on 072 901 2182 info@silverwishesnpo.org.za.
