This week’s Golden Oldie Car of Krugersdorp is a 1970 Buick Riviera, which has been owned by Chris Palk for the last 12 years.
The car was originally imported from America by a man in Cape Town, who sold it to Chris. It was stolen about three years ago, but was fortunately recovered in Pretoria with minor damage, which has since been repaired.
Interesting facts about the car:
• The car has a top speed of 200km/h
• It has a three-speed automatic gearbox
• It has a 7,5 litre engine with a V8 motor
• The car is 5 466mm long and 2 014mm wide
