Charity art exhibition for Thusong Centre

Mogale City Local Municipality’s Heritage, Arts and Culture section will host a Visual Arts Charity Exhibition in aid of the Thusong Centre for the Mentally Challenged in the Mogale City Museum.

The Thusong Centre is a place where mentally challenged young people are being trained in skilled programmes in the visual arts.

The exhibition will assist the youth from the centre to promote and sell their art work, and will also boost their confidence about the creative work they’re doing.

Everyone, businesses included, is invited to support the Exhibition, which opens on 24 June at 2pm.

The Centre hopes that the art work on exhibition will be purchased by the public, and that both individuals and businesses will see their way clear to making donations to the Centre.
