[WATCH] Junior Krugersdorpers tell us about their dads

In the spirit of Fathers day, the News took to the streets to find out what little Krugersdorpers think of their fathers.

On the third Sunday of June worldwide, people celebrate male parenting and the significance of fathers. This year, the News gave a number of children the opportunity to express how they feel about their dads.

Dominick and Luan Grimbeek from Krugersdorp North:

Three-year-old Boipelo Mosai is from Kagiso:

“Dads are special because they play with us. If my dad was a superhero, his power would be like Superman. When I think of dad I think of how he can carry me around his neck. My dad knows how to talk to me, he doesn’t shout like my mom.”

Six-year-old Lolita Nyembe is from Krugersdorp:

“Dads are special because they make us food. If my dad was a superhero, his power would be to save people. When I think of my dad I think of my mommy too. My dad knows how to save people, gym and fix cars better than anyone.”
