Local jeweller sponsors earings for anti-poaching organisation
JJ Jewellers has sponsored a set of 0,73 carat diamond earrings for the anti-poaching initiative.
The owner of Bijou Jewellers in the Key West Shopping Centre, JJ Smith, has sponsored a R53 000 set of Protea diamond earrings that will be sold in aid of Pit-Track.
Based in Bloubosrand, Pit-Track is a non-profit K9 conservation unit that is self-funded.
The organisation consists of approximately 50 members, among them of ex-soldiers, conservationists, animal activists, game rangers and security providers.

As soon as the earrings are sold, JJ will donate the proceeds to Pit-Track so that the money can be used to fund the anti-poaching initiative.
