[WATCH] Rohan: a star in the making
He has performed at the Innibos festival, and has recently released his first music video.
While learning to play the guitar at the age of 19, Krugersdorp’s very own Rohan Booysen discovered his passion for music.
By day Rohan is the owner of BRB Electrical, and by night he is fulfilling his dream of becoming a force to be reckoned with on the South African music scene.
In 2007 he joined a band called Die Teelepeltjies Boereorkes, and he played with them for seven years until he decided to start a new band he calls ROHAN.
He writes all his own music, in Afrikaans, and also performs covers of other artists’ songs.
“My band is very versatile and can put on a show for any function. I’ve been booked for 18 festivals so far, and I played at Innibos last year,” he said.

His first music video was released two weeks ago, and has had over 6 000 views.
