Two burglars nabbed by security guards

Security guards nab two suspects found in possession of electric voltage plugs.

Two suspects were arrested in Tshepisong for breaking into a business last week.

The two were found in possession of stolen property.

A security guard who was on duty told police he heard a banging sound at a nearby factory. He noticed two suspects with plastic bags jumping over a wall, and then informed his manager and supervisor who responded swiftly. A chase ensued and one suspect, 32, was stopped and his bags searched. He was arrested after guards had found stolen electric voltage plugs in the bags.

The brave guards also found a second suspect who was hiding. The 28-year-old was also arrested and handed over to the police.

A case of business burglary was opened. The two made a brief appearance in court and were remanded in custody for further investigations and bail applications.
