A 58-year-old female was arrested last week for being in possession of copper cables.
“The woman was arrested after police pulled her over on the R28/ Randfontein Road on 22 July,” Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale said.
It is believe the arrest followed after members of the police noticed a suspicious-looking occupant in the vehicle.
While searching the vehicle, they found the copper cables, which the suspect claimed were her property.
The woman was detained at the Krugersdorp Police station and will appear in court shortly.
