A 22-year-old suspect has been taken into police custody after a young man was stabbed to death in Munsieville last week.
It is believed the male victim was stabbed by the suspect at a local tavern on 24 July.
“The victim, also aged 22 years, was at the tavern when he was stabbed in the neck with a knife by the suspect,” Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale confirmed.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where he later died from the injuries sustained during the incident.
The suspect was arrested some time later, and will soon appear in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court facing charges of murder.
