Two Vaal Triangle men arrested for stealing a bank card in Kagiso. Third suspect arrested at the scene of the crime.
Two men from Sebokeng in the Vaal Triangle were arrested on Saturday, 10 September for the theft of a bank card on the West Rand.
Three suspects, aged between 40 and 45, approached a man who was withdrawing money at a filling station on Kagiso Avenue. One of the suspects offered to assist the complainant, while the other two tried to distract him with the aim of robbing him.
The complainant was overpowered when he tried to fight his assailants off, and robbed of his bank card. Two of the suspects then sped off in a red vehicle, but the quick-thinking complainant was able to restrain the third suspect, and called the police. The suspect was then arrested.
After intense investigations, the remaining suspects were tracked down to Sebokeng where they were arrested.
