Owner of frail care centre receives Community Award
"At last our community can see what we have been seeing all along."
The owner of La Reynette Centre, Reinetta Ridley, has been acknowledged by the West Rand Chamber of Business and Tourism for her work with the elderly.
She received the Chris Kruger Community Award 2016 for the Appreciation of the Special Care for the Frail & Aged of our community.
“At last our community can see what we have been seeing all along,” said Tienke Boscher, a representative of the centre.
“Reinetta not only weathers adverse business opposition but treats her staff, patients and all who cross her path with kindness. She does not stop at being good to others – she also goes the extra mile by contributing financially to their future, supporting them in starting their own businesses or investing in intellectual gains courses. Reinetta is a very quiet, unassuming individual who understands God’s commandment to care for others to the highest levels of love and patience,” she added.

The centre’s staff said, “Reinetta is already everything we need. Mother, sister, wife, entrepreneur, confidant, dependable, trustworthy. Krugersdorp may not have seen her headlined all over town but you will always find that she is the one standing behind those who are”.
Her staff would also like to congratulate her on her birthday, which was last week.
