[Update] Husband identifies naked wife’s body

She sustained multiple injuries.

The body of a female who is believed to be in her 60s was discovered at Millsite next to the railroad on Friday, 23 September. According to reports the woman had gone missing on Sunday, 18 September.

She was last seen at her residence, a flat in Krugersdorp West on Saturday evening, 17 September. It is believed the woman left the flat and wandered about the secured area around the flats. She then went out through the complex’s gate.

It is alleged that the woman later stood at the gate and yelled, “Let me in, I’m freezing,” a source told the News.

It is alleged that a vehicle stopped next to the woman and she got in. The vehicle allegedly drove off.

Her husband reported her missing at the Krugersdorp Police Station the next day.

It is alleged her naked body was found in a ditch next to the railway, with her clothes scattered in the area. She sustained multiple injuries.

The Krugersdorp Police allegedly contacted the woman’s husband and he identified the body.

It is believed she suffered from bipolar disorder and received treatment at a local psychiatric hospital.
