Three alleged hijackers arrested

The swift response of the police members resulted in the successful arrest of these suspects.

Three foreign nationals have been arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.

It is alleged that the vehicle, a Mercedes-Benz, was hijacked in Sunnyside, Pretoria early on Monday, 26 September.

The Krugersdorp Police and the Flying Squad received a tracker signal from the vehicle in Appelblaar Street, Rangeview and responded. The three suspects were arrested at this address.

The swift response of the police members resulted in the successful arrest of these suspects.

“The members conducted themselves well and their perseverance led to this great success,” Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale, Krugersdorp Police spokesperson said.
