Update: Krugersdorp police release official statement on murdered man
No arrests have been made yet. The police collected fingerprint evidence and the investigation is still under way.
Following the fatal shooting of a man in Rissik Street, Krugersdorp on Wednesday, 12 October at about 1pm, the Krugersdorp Police have released an official statement about the circumstances and details of the murder case.
The victim is believed to be a 50-year-old businessman. It is said he was seated in his parked vehicle when another vehicle parked beside his. One suspect jumped out of the second vehicle and grabbed a bag out of the victim’s vehicle.
The suspect then shot the still-seated victim in his upper body. He returned to his vehicle and fled the scene.
It is believed the bag contained an undisclosed amount of cash.
