Business goes boom as perps try to blast open safe
Suspects allegedly connected the bomb to a drop safe in order to gain access to its contents.
The inside of a business was severely damaged yesterday, 25 October when a bomb exploded at approximately 1.25am on Albertina Sisulu Road, Krugersdorp.
The perpetrators allegedly connected a bomb to a drop-safe in order to gain access to its contents.
The explosives were detonated, but the safe was not blown open and the perpetrators could not gain access to the cash inside.
No money was stolen from the property, but the property was damaged. No injuries were reported.
Krugersdorp Police are investigating the matter. Any information regarding the possession of explosives can be reported to Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
