Maggie leads the way in walkathon

Maragon's Maggie Sekhu walked for a cause at the Ithemba Walkathon.

Maggie Sekhu flew the Maragon Schools‘ flag high when she represented the school at the Ithemba Walkathon that was held on Sunday, 23 October at Marks Park in Emmarentia.

The Ruimsig resident said that she took part in the walkathon because she wanted to support women with breast cancer as it is the leading type of cancer in women.

“It was very exciting and I am pleased that I participated in this event. It was a gruelling 5 kilometres, but it was amazing and fun,” said Maggie.
