Jannas’ debating club goes live
Jannas learners had a live debate on air, tackling a very hot issue.
Members of Jan de Klerk High School‘s debating club visited the local radio station, Westside FM, on Wednesday, 30 November.
The host of the show, Jimmy James, allowed the learners to have a live debate on air, tackling a very hot issue: Should churches be regulated by the government?
The girls showed tremendous skill and wowed even the toughest critic.
Jan de Klerk would like to thank James and the Westside FM family for allowing them this platform and for their positive attitude towards the club’s dream of participating internationally in March 2017 in the Bratislava International Debate Competition.
The Debate Club wishes the Westside FM family a wonderful and blessed festive season.
“We are looking forward to the journey and partnership ahead in making this tour dream a reality.”
