Mayor wishes Mogale residents happy holidays
Executive Mayor Michael Holenstein and the whole of Mogale City wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
With more than 25 years of management experience in full service hospitality operations, it is clear that Mogale City’s new Mayor, Michael Holenstein, has leadership in his DNA.
One is justified in saying that in the hospitality industry he has done it all. His skills extend to driving enterprise growth through strategic oversight, sound financial management and enabling and inspiring a team of individuals to excel in their working environment and personal performance.
It’s clear Mayor Michael has many qualifications under his belt. From a small business management diploma, a tourism management certificate to a national certificate in professional cookery, Mayor Michael has earned his stripes.
Mayor Michael is also not new to politics or the Democratic Alliance. He has a long history with the party. From serving as a party representative (PR) councillor, being a caucus chairperson and unofficial executive mayor to his latest appointment as mayor, Michael has proved how worthy he is of his new role.
His broad background in providing hands-on leadership is sure to help Mogale City achieve solid growth and results. The jack-of-all-trades has earned a reputation for establishing long-term relationships with individuals of diverse cultures and organisational backgrounds through the provision of high levels of customer satisfaction, food, hotel and service experiences.
The married father of two is excited to pursue a career in politics and lives by his mantra – the guest experience is naturally the best – and residents hope he turns Mogale City into a council and town where not only the guests’ experience, but the residents’ experience too, is of the best.
The Mayor added some festive cheer to the last month of the year by wishing residents well.
