Cyclist and motorcycle collides in Muldersdrift
The cyclist did not see the motorcyclist
One person was left in a critical condition after a cyclist and motorcycle collided on the R114 in Muldersdrift, close to Avianto on Sunday, 12 February, just after noon. The other victims were less seriously injured, but full details are not yet known.
According to ER24 spokesperson Annine Dormehl, the cyclist did not see the motorcyclist, who also had a passenger, approaching him after taking a turn, resulting in a T-bone collision.
Local authorities had not arrived for further investigation by the time ER24 paramedics were leaving the scene. ER24 paramedics transported the patients to Netcare Pinehaven Hospital and Netcare Milpark Hospital.
The genders and ages of the patients are at this stage still unknown.
