Local stunner to represent South Africa in Turkey
As much as she loves modelling, dressing up and wearing heels, is she a real farm girl at heart.
Modelling has given a Krugersdorp beauty the opportunity to make a positive impact on her community and hopefully soon, across the world.
Shikirah Roth, a matric learner from Krugersdorp High School, was recently chosen to represent South Africa at the Teen Miss World competition to be held in Turkey in May.

She started modelling when she was three years old and according to her, she not only does it for the title, but to help others and touch as many lives as possible.
“I am positive, compassionate, bubbly and outgoing, and I enjoy meeting new people. I love making a difference,” said Shikirah
She is proud to represent Krugersdorp and also serve her community. She is a youth leader at the Real Life Church in Krugersdorp.
As much as she loves modelling, dressing up and wearing heels, is she a real farm girl at heart. Being outdoors and bonding with her favourite horse is where she enjoys spending quality alone time.
She is also the deputy principal of the blood-donation drive at her school. She said she believes in encouraging other learners to donate blood to save as many lives as possible.
“Every drop donated gives someone else another chance at life. Next year I would like to complete emergency-room medical courses so that I could continue helping others,” said Shikirah.

She is very excited about her upcoming event and wants to make South Africa, her school and her community proud.
“If I achieve this title it will give me another opportunity to make a difference.”
She also believes that if your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough.
