Campaign is answering shoppers’ call
The Hangers for Hope campaign was an overwhelming success in 2015 and 2016.
To celebrate the exceptional life of Nelson Mandela who dedicated 67 years to changing the lives of all South Africans, Cradlestone Mall is hosting their third annual award-winning Hangers for Hope campaign from 1 July.
Join them to fill a clothing rail of 67 metres long by donating clothes, blankets, shoes and school uniforms to help those less fortunate.
This year, after multiple requests from their customers, they will also be selling all donated clothing to shoppers at affordable prices to raise funds for their nominated charities.
Each hanger on the clothing rail has a tag onto which donors can write messages of hope to the recipients of the clothing, blankets and shoes. The target is to fill the rails and to donate the goods to charities that need it the most this winter.
The Hangers for Hope campaign was an overwhelming success in 2015 and 2016, during which 134 metres of clothing rails and 18 shopping trolleys were filled with donated goods. This year their aim is to exceed expectations and achieve stellar results.
