Renewed hope for the Cradle of Hope

Melodie van Brakel has announced that Cradle of Hope recently received more than the full amount required to renovate and equip The Bright One.

Since the initiation of the Cradle of Hope’s Operation Restoration – The Bright One (a soon-to-be extension of the Cradle of Hope’s current services to women and children in desperate need), they have been in need of R300 000 to complete the restoration of the new extension.

Melodie van Brakel, co-founder of the Cradle of Hope, is now proud to announce that they have recently received the full amount, and more, of the funding required to renovate and equip 40 Nellie Street in Krugersdorp West.

This property is in need of dire restoration, building work, new gutters, paint, paving, car-ports, new ceilings, plumbing and tiling for which they have received a staggering R322 000 – more than enough to provide for all that needs to be done.

They are now in the process of getting quotations to appoint a reputable contractor.

“Once again, I would like to express my gratitude for everyone’s involvement in this exciting project,” Melodie said.
