Splash! is a circus for the modern age, presenting a variety of circus genres, but with a unique, visual twist.

Audiences of all ages will be spellbound by the refreshing Splash! The Water Circus all the way from Russia. It is its first visit to South Africa.

Splash! is a circus for the modern age, presenting a variety of circus genres, but with a unique, visual twist. The traditional acts look completely different as they are presented in – or above – a 12 metre diameter pool of water. Accompanying this is a dazzling lighting and laser show that perfectly displays the impressive body manipulation and contortion feats among a series of water fountains.

The audience will gasp as they watch traditional aerial circus acts such as the spectacular Silks, all taking place above water. Added to the already impressive list of circus acts is the Espana family from Brazil performing their daredevil Wheel of Death and The Russian Swing.

In addition to all the circus acts people are accustomed to seeing, the show also has a full team of synchronised swimmers who add to the magic. Their disciplined and well-trained displays are among the reasons why the show is considered so unique.

There are no animals in any of the acts, but the performers showcase the extreme talent and capabilities of the human body in an action-packed show presented around the custom-built pool, ensuring a truly memorable audience experience.

Ticket prices range from R100 to R375 and bookings are through Computicket (www.computicket.com) or call 0861 915 8000.
