The Community Police Forum (CPF) of Sector 5 has arranged a special AGM meeting to discuss the appointment of new executive committee (Exco) members.
The positions that need to be filled were are those of the vice chairperson, public relations officer, deputy secretary and patrol manager.
Members of the public will be able to vote for their person of choice in each category.
To be able to vote, attendees need to bring their ID documents and proof of residence.
“Any person is welcome to attend and vote. Your presence is important,” said Cecilia Janse van Vuuren, the spokesperson for CPF Sector 5.
The meeting will take place on 10 August at the Suiderlig Kerk, on the corner of Herbert Avenue and Gould Street, Krugersdorp West. The approval of the new constitution will also be discussed.
