[Drone footage] Mullies is open!

Learners of the school returned knowing their education at the school will not be in jeopardy.

Introducing the new and improved Laerskool Muldersdrif – with its new carports, roofs, painted ceilings, repaired windows and full classrooms.

On 9 October 2017, a tornado hit the school, taking with it the roof, breaking the palisade fencing, and destroying the rugby field, and it was clear that major repairs would be needed to restore the school to its former glory.

And thanks to an insurance pay-out, they were able to do so, just in time for school to start.

On Wednesday, 17 January, the learners of the school returned to repaired corridors and rebuilt classrooms, knowing that their education at the school will not be in jeopardy.

The school is now open to the learners and they seemed quite happy about the start of the new academic year.
