Mogale embraces Wordmille institution
The institution provides a wide range of programmes – from undergraduate to post-graduate.
The community of Mogale City has a new institution of higher learning right on its doorstep.
The academics of the Wordmille School of Business Leadership and Management recently unfolded the institution’s programme at its orientation day held at the Mogale City Local Municipality’s Council Chamber. It is currently based at the Chamdor Training Centre near Leratong Hospital.
The institution provides a wide range of programmes – from undergraduate to post-graduate. The Mogale City Speaker of Council, councillor Noluthando Mangole welcomed the formation and said the the new institution will go a long way for the community of Mogale City.
“We are truly blessed to have great minds who saw it necessary to establish this institution in Mogale City. We as a municipality welcome the fact that you wish to bring education closer to our people.
We are also looking forward to seeing our councillors and staff members enrolling at this institution.
“We encourage the management of the institution to make their academic content relevant to the core business of our municipality so that we can develop our way of providing services to our communities. Most importantly, we are going to be part of this noble programme moving forward,” Mangole said.
The institution’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Mokone Lebese gave a thought-provoking keynote speech, addressing the audience about the importance of an idea that can eventually develop into a product. Others leaders within the management of the institution include Dr King Costa, Dr Faith Raduvha and Dr John Tibane.
Councillor Paul Molapo, Member of the Mayoral Committee responsible for Local Economic Development Services, and various other stakeholders, ranging from the business sector to provincial government support this initiative.
