Police looking for alleged rapist
The suspect allegedly sneaked into the victim's room and got on top of her.
Kagiso Police are searching for the pictured suspect, who allegedly sneaked into a woman’s room and raped her while she was asleep.
On Saturday, 10 March, the woman laid the charge against the man. She allegedly came back from a local shebeen with her boyfriend at about 10pm and went to sleep at his cousin’s shack. The shack door was not locked and at about 5am, she felt someone on top of her. Her boyfriend had already left.

On opening her eyes, she realised that the person was someone she knew very well. Seeing that he had been recognised, the suspect left the room and fled. The matter was reported to the Kagiso Police and a case docket of rape was opened.
Kagiso Police are now appealing to anyone who recognises the suspect to call the investigating officer, Sergeant Au on 011 951 1729/30 or 082 771 6383.
