Numerous arrests during stop-and-search operation
The police's recent stop-and-search action proved fruitful.
On Thursday, 17 May at approximately 8am, a 31-year-old man was arrested for being in possession of suspected stolen property.

Police were conducting a random stop-and-search around plot 6 in the Tarlton policing precinct when they found the suspect with a hydraulic jack, estimated to be worth R4 000.

The suspect is expected to appear before court soon.
In a separate incident two men were arrested for trespassing as they were found to be undocumented foreign nationals.
