[BREAKING NEWS] Protest action by learners in Magaliesburg
Avoid these roads.
Motorists are advised to approach the R509 (Koster Road) with caution or alternatively use the R24 (Rustenburg Road) after police reported a protest by the learners of Magaliesberg Secondary School.
The learners barricaded the R509 and were stoning passing vehicles. The protest action is about the alleged lack of hot water and other maintenance issues at their boarding school which is situated in the Gamogale location in Magaliesburg.

The Magaliesburg Police and public order police were monitoring the situation. No reports of damage to vehicles or criminal elements had been received at the time this article was published.
