Residents are heading to Laerskool Ebenhaeser to cast their ballots in the Local Government Elections today, November 4.
The Krugersdorp News visited the voting station at about 08:30, where the queue was relatively short, with about 15 people waiting to vote. The line was also moving smoothly, with voters waiting no longer than 15 minutes.

One resident, Fred Botha, who had already cast his vote, said he hoped his vote would contribute to improved service delivery.
“We always had great service delivery many years ago, however, now it has gone backwards in recent years,” he said.
Botha said he would particularly like to see improvements in healthcare services and road infrastructure.

“You are not just leaving your mark, you are continuing to have your actual voice heard, and after voting, you can be vocal about what you want from the local government,” he concluded.
