[FOLLOW UP] Rand Water – power has been restored
"Normal pumping from the station has commenced and supply to municipal customers has started."
Rand Water has issued a statement saying that power has been restored to the Emfuleni Local Municipality after the theft of a cable which caused a pressure drop in the water supply on the West Rand.
The loss of power to parts of the Municipality impacted the pumping capability of Rand Water’s Vereeniging Pumping Station.
