
A woman was charged with murder after she stabbed a man to death during an argument on Sunday, 17 June.
The woman and man were in a tavern in Kagiso where an argument ensued. The woman drew a sharp object and stabbed the man in the upper body.
He was later declared dead on scene.

Kagiso Police spokesperson, Captain Solomon Sibiya, said that when police arrived at the tavern, they saw the man lying in a pool of blood. Witnesses told police what had happened and the police began to search for the woman.
Officers apprehended her a few metres away from the scene of the crime. She was arrested and a case of murder was opened against her.
The suspect has appeared briefly in court, facing charges of murder.
