Suspects arrested for ‘fowl’ play

It is alleged that the two were stopped at the security gate with 10 bags of chicken feed.

On Wednesday, 4 June, at about 7.50pm two males, both aged 38, were arrested in Tarlton for theft of chicken feed.

The two were allegedly stopped at a security gate with 10 bags of chicken feed loaded into a silver Toyota Hilux belonging to one of the suspects.

According to West Rand Cluster Police spokesperson, Constable Lucky Matome, the value of the stolen goods is estimated at R1 800.

Both suspects are expected to appear before the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court soon.
