Woman assaulted by ex-boyfreind’s new lover
The victim was approached by her ex-boyfriend's new lover. They got into an argument and a fight ensued.
Using the phrase ‘a lovers’ tiff’ to describe what happened to a Kagiso resident is an understatement after her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend assaulted her.
“Kagiso police will always act swiftly on a case where a woman is humiliated and physically attacked,” said Captain Solomon Sibiya, spokesperson for the Kagiso Police.
The resident alleges that she and her aunt were visiting a local tavern in Kagiso Extension 12 on 27 September. At 1.45am, her ex-lover’s new girlfriend approached her. The ex-boyfriend and two of his friends were also close by.
The new girlfriend and the woman got into an argument and the girlfriend pushed and slapped the victim.
