No hiding from the Kagiso Police

Kagiso Police followed up on a tip-off and caught a suspect in no time.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on 21 October for allegedly committing a house robbery the day before.

A woman told the police that while she and five of her friends were enjoying drinks at her dwelling in Sinqobile, Kagiso at 4.15am, three men entered the shack and closed the door.

One of them drew a firearm and the other two had knives. They ordered the group to kneel while they searched them and took the owner’s cellphone, jacket and some cash.

Luckily one of the victims could identify one of the men and after a case had been opened, the Kagiso Police started their search for the men.

They received a tip-off about one of the men’s whereabouts and he was arrested.

According to Captain Solomon Sibiya, Kagiso Police spokesperson, they will continue their investigation and search for the other two men.
