Help Patricia’s family bring her home

The missing teen was wearing grey tights, a black shirt with writing on it, light green takkies and a black bomber jacket.

A desperate family is pleading with the community to help them find 16-year-old Patricia Audrey Johnson.

It is believed that she ran away from home between noon and 1pm yesterday, 5 November. According to Lois Brown, Patricia’s grandmother, her mother fetched her from school yesterday after she wrote exams. She dropped Patricia and her brother off at home and locked the front door while she went to fetch her younger children from their school.

“She and her brother had chores to do. Her brother was busy in the living room and realised everything was very quiet. He went to look for her but she was gone,” said Brown.

It is believed that she slipped out the back door and over the gate.

The family has been to friends and known acquaintances of Patricia, but have not located her yet. They have also opened a missing person’s case with the Krugersdorp Police and contacted the Pink Ladies.

Patricia is about 1,5 metres tall, she has green eyes and reddish-brown hair. According to Brown she has long hair but could have changed her appearance.

She was wearing grey tights, a black shirt with writing on it, light green takkies and a black bomber jacket. It is also believed that she had R200 cash with her.

“We are very worried about her, especially with all the stories you hear about girls being abducted,” said Brown.

If you see Patricia or know of her whereabouts, please phone Lois on 060 504 9807.
