School expo at Key West shows parents what they can expect next year

Various schools were on display at the Key West Shopping Centre during the weekend to talk to parents and children about 2020's school year.

It might only be a couple of weeks since the very first school day for many fresh-faced Grade 1’s this year, but another group of parents is already thinking about their little one’s first day in 2020.

It’s never too early to start planning, and parent’s who visited the Key West Shopping Centre recently, concerned about which school to pick, had the opportunity to speak to representatives of various primary schools at the Key West’s School Expo, which was set up in the centre’s food court.

Parents could learn all about the schools in the area, talk to teachers, read pamphlets and even find out how they can start registering for the coming year.

Over the two days, the event saw hundreds of eager little faces and interested parents. A few tough questions were thrown about concerning school fees, the current curriculum and extra curricular activities, but quick answers soon set the parents at ease.

If you’ve missed these school expo days, parents are welcome to contact the various schools during school hours, where they will be assisted swiftly.
