Sunday accident sends woman to hospital

A woman had to be taken to hospital on Sunday after an accident with a delivery vehicle.

According to a statement by Netcare911 their paramedics responded to a light motor vehicle accident just outside Krugersdorp.

The accident occurred at 2.35pm on the R563 just outside a lodge on Sunday, 17 February afternoon.

Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911’s media liaison officer, said the reports from the scene was that a light motor vehicle and a light delivery vehicle had collided.

A woman had sustained moderate injuries during the accident and was stabilised on scene by a Netcare 911 Advanced Life Support paramedic before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
